Training Mailbag: How Can I Tell How Many Viewers Our Live Stream Is Reaching?

In this week’s training mailbag segment, we’ll be talking about viewing your Faithlife Live Stream stats. Have a different question? We’d love to hear from you! Add it below, and we may answer it in an upcoming mailbag segment.

How can I tell how many viewers our Live Stream is reaching?

It’s wise to measure the reach of your streaming efforts as you seek to engage your church and community since it’s the easiest way to keep your attendance count.

Faithlife Live Stream has been counting for you, and you can easily access the data in your Faithlife church group.

To find your Live Stream stats,

  • Expand the Content section on the left-hand column of your main church page and select Videos.
  • Click the video you’re interested in, and select the asset details from the lower right-hand corner of the preview image. There you’ll see the number of unique views as well as the average viewing time.

If your number of unique views seems low, remember that many families often watch together. To get a better idea of how many people were likely watching at one time, you can multiply your unique views by the average family size in your church.

If your average viewing time seems like it should be higher, take a look at it over time. If it doesn’t increase, you may want to consider whether your streaming setup or service flow is hard to follow online.

Learn more about accessing your stats or contact our Tech Support team (888-634-2038 or support@faithlife.com). We’re available seven days a week, and we’d love to help you out!
